1        AN ACT Relating to the official state "rock-n-roll" song; and
2    adding a new section to chapter 1.20 RCW.

3    BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

4        NEW SECTION.  Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 1.20 RCW
5    to read as follows:
6        The "rock-n-roll" song "Louie, Louie," with new lyrics as
7    originally composed by Richard Berry specifically applicable to our
8    state, is hereby designated as the official "rock-n-roll" song of the
9    state of Washington.
